Measuring TEFL Students’ Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety: A Rasch Analysis Approach

چکیده

This study sought to measures the foreign language classroom anxiety of English Department students a university in Indonesia and compare across independent demographic variables gender length at department. The literature shows that learning affects one’s achievements language. Data were collected through administration adapted version Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale 96 selected stratified random sampling technique. was assessed Rasch analysis while analyses for significant difference two conducted using tests inferential statistics. findings show existence number who tend be highly anxious English. also indicate students’ variable semester where 4 more than those other semesters. No found gender. implications these then discussed.
